Understanding audit logs
Audit logs give a complete, tamper-evident record of every action taken in SRA — essential for accountability and compliance.
Every meaningful action in SRA is recorded in the audit log: who did it, what they did, when, and from which IP address.
Why audit logs matter
- Accountability — trace any change back to the user who made it
- Compliance — required by many education authorities
- Dispute resolution — verify whether a mark was changed and by whom
Log retention
Audit logs are retained for a minimum of 3 years. They cannot be deleted by school-level users.
