Frequently asked questions
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes, free forever, with no card and no student or teacher caps. It covers the complete core workflow: setup, enrollment, marks entry with moderation, NECTA grading and divisions, individual and class report cards, and emailing them to guardians. You can run every term on it indefinitely.
How does billing work?
One flat School-plan price per term, lined up with the academic calendar, it never changes with how many students you have. Prefer one payment? Annual billing is exactly two times the term price and covers the whole academic year. Prices are quoted excluding VAT; where VAT applies it appears as a separate line on your invoice.
How do the AI and SMS/WhatsApp allotments work?
Every term on the School plan includes an allotment of AI credits and SMS/WhatsApp messages, granted each term, including on annual billing. Beyond it, you top up at a flat per-unit rate. When a balance runs out, sending simply stops and we warn you before that happens, you are never billed automatically for overage.
What about school groups and districts?
Same product, same features, a group of schools signs one negotiated School-plan contract, with volume pricing and dedicated onboarding. There is no separate 'district tier' with different features.
What happens if we stop paying?
Your account drops back to the Free plan, never a lockout. All your data, students and history stay intact, and re-subscribing instantly restores every School-plan feature.
Are reports really NECTA-compliant?
Yes. Report cards and transcripts follow Tanzania's CSEE and ACSEE standards, including divisions and grading, and export as clean PDFs ready to print or share.
