1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering your school, signing in, or otherwise using the SRA platform ("Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using SRA on behalf of a school or educational institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that institution to these Terms. If you do not have such authority, you must not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users — System Administrators, School Administrators, Teachers, and Academic Officers.
2. Service Description
SRA is an academic results management platform designed for Tanzanian secondary schools managing CSEE (Form 4) and ACSEE (Form 6) examination results. The Service includes:
- Student mark entry, validation, and moderation workflows
- NECTA-compliant grade calculation and PDF report generation
- Analytics dashboards with performance trends and AI-assisted insights
- Multi-role access control (System Admin, School Admin, Teacher, Academic Officer)
- Parent communication via SMS, Email, and WhatsApp
- Data import/export and bulk management tools
SRA reserves the right to modify, enhance, or discontinue features with reasonable notice to active users.
3. User Accounts
School accounts are provisioned by SRA system administrators following a verified school registration. Individual user accounts within a school are created and managed by the school's designated administrator.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must not share login credentials between users. Each user must have their own account.
You must notify SRA immediately at security@sra.co.tz if you suspect unauthorized access.
Accounts may not be transferred between individuals without admin approval.
All account activity is your responsibility. SRA is not liable for actions taken using your credentials.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use SRA only for legitimate academic results management. The following are expressly prohibited:
Fraudulent Data Entry
Entering false or manipulated marks to misrepresent student performance or circumvent NECTA regulations.
Unauthorized Access
Attempting to access accounts, data, or system resources beyond your assigned role permissions.
Data Extraction
Scraping, bulk-downloading, or exfiltrating student records for purposes outside of your school's operations.
System Interference
Introducing malware, overloading servers, or disrupting service availability for other schools.
Impersonation
Misrepresenting your identity, school, or role to gain access or manipulate records.
Commercial Resale
Reselling, sublicensing, or offering SRA features as your own service to third parties.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to the relevant educational authorities including NECTA.
5. School Data & Ownership
You own your data
All student academic records, school configurations, and results data you enter into SRA remain the exclusive property of your school. SRA holds a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service.
By using SRA, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and transmit your school's data as necessary to operate the platform. This license ends when your school's account is closed and data is deleted.
You represent that you have the legal right to submit all data entered into SRA, including student personal information, and that such data was collected in compliance with applicable Tanzanian education laws.
6. Intellectual Property
The SRA platform, including its software, design, user interface, algorithms, documentation, and all related materials are the exclusive intellectual property of SRA and its licensors. These are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, SRA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your school's internal educational purposes.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, create derivative works from, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the SRA platform.

SRA is provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for excellence, we make no warranties — express or implied — regarding the accuracy of AI-powered analytics predictions, the availability of SMS delivery in all regions, or the absolute security of stored data against all possible threats.
NECTA grade calculations within SRA are based on published NECTA grading rubrics. Schools remain responsible for verifying results against official NECTA releases. SRA is not affiliated with or endorsed by NECTA or the Tanzanian Ministry of Education.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Tanzanian law, SRA's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by your school in the 12 months preceding the claim.
SRA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of data, loss of revenue, or reputational harm arising from your use of the Service — even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. SRA may immediately suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Breach of the Acceptable Use Policy (Section 4)
- Non-payment of applicable subscription fees
- Court order or regulatory direction
- Actions that pose a security risk to other users
Upon termination, your data remains accessible for 90 days for export. After this period, all data is permanently deleted from our systems.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tanzania, with Dar es Salaam as the primary jurisdiction.
