Configuring academic years and terms

Create academic years, define terms, set dates, and mark the current active term.

An academic year in SRA contains one or more terms. Analytics and reports are always scoped to a specific term within an academic year.

Creating an academic year

  • Go to Classes → Academic Years → New Academic Year
  • Enter the year name (e.g., 2025/2026)
  • Set the start and end dates

Adding terms

  • Inside the academic year, click Add Term
  • Name the term (e.g., Term 1, First Term)
  • Set start and end dates
  • Mark one term as 'Current' so the dashboard defaults to it

Only one term can be active at a time. The current term is auto-selected in the mark entry and analytics screens.
