Communication templates
Create reusable message templates for SMS, email, and WhatsApp to save time on routine communications.
Templates allow you to save frequently used messages with placeholders that are automatically filled with student-specific data.
Supported placeholders
- {{studentName}} — full student name
- {{className}} — class and stream
- {{division}} — NECTA division
- {{passRate}} — percentage of subjects passed
- {{term}} — term name
Creating a template
- Go to Communications → Templates → New Template
- Name the template and select the channel (SMS / Email / WhatsApp)
- Write the message using placeholders
- Save
