How to enter marks for Form 4 CSEE exams

A step-by-step guide for teachers to enter CSEE exam marks in SRA, including test type selection and submission.

Teachers enter marks through the Results module. Each mark entry sheet is scoped to a subject configuration (subject + class + term) and a specific test type (e.g., Mid-Term or End-of-Term).

Steps

  • Go to Results → Enter Marks
  • Select the term (defaults to the current term)
  • Choose your subject from the list — only subjects assigned to you appear
  • Select the test type (e.g., End-of-Term Exam)
  • Enter marks for each student in the sheet that appears
  • Click Save Draft to save progress, or Submit when done

Validation rules

  • Marks cannot exceed the maximum defined for that test type
  • Marks must be numeric (decimals allowed)
  • Absent students should be left blank or marked 0 — check with your school policy

After submission

Once submitted, marks are locked for editing and sent to the moderation queue. If a correction is needed, contact your Academic Officer who can unlock the entry.

Submitted marks cannot be edited by the teacher. Only Academic Officers and School Admins can unlock and correct submitted marks.
